Turn this into a bookable mini session.
Use Session Savvy to create your event, add available time slots, collect client details, and set up booking payments.
Download your kit first, then use it while creating the event. Automatic transfer into your account is not available yet.
Start with a specific offer: who the sessions are for, where they happen, how long they last, what clients receive, and when images will be ready. Build the schedule around that offer before promoting it. This launch kit brings the practical pieces together; your booking page is where clients will reserve their actual sessions.
How many mini sessions can I schedule?
Divide the available time plus one buffer by the session length plus buffer, then round down. For a three-hour window, 20-minute sessions and five-minute buffers allow seven spots. The last session ends at 11:50 when you start at 9:00. Keep any remaining time as breathing room.
How much should mini sessions cost?
Consider preparation, shooting, editing, delivery, location expenses, and the number of bookings you realistically expect. Potential revenue alone doesn’t tell you whether the event is worthwhile. Use the mini-session pricing guide and profit calculator to work through your own costs.
How much buffer time should I leave?
Choose time for arrivals, resetting the space, and the pace of the people you photograph. Five minutes is an editable starting point here, not a universal recommendation. If travel or a longer break is needed, plan separate blocks rather than treating that time as bookable.
How do I create mini-session time slots?
Choose the event’s start and end time, then enter session duration and the buffer between clients. Or start with a specific number of spots and let the planner calculate the finish time. Review the schedule before adding it to your booking page.
How do clients book mini sessions?
Share one booking link with the offer, location, available times, payment expectations, and a clear confirmation step. Start with the free mini-session booking tool when you’re ready to accept real bookings.
How should I promote my sessions?
Lead with the experience and who it suits, then give the date, location, inclusions, price, and booking link. Send the announcement to relevant past clients and adapt it for social posts. Avoid invented scarcity: update availability messages using actual bookings.
Before you accept a booking
Deposits: decide what is paid at booking, how it applies to the full price, and when any balance is due. The planner calculates amounts; it does not determine your payment terms.
Changes and cancellations: explain your approach to late arrivals, weather, rescheduling, and cancellation before clients commit. Have your agreement reviewed for your situation rather than copying a universal policy.
Confirmation: tell clients what makes a booking complete and send the time, meeting point, preparation details, and contact information.
Client information: collect only the contact and session details you need. Use a separate questionnaire when more preparation is useful.
