Free fireworks overlays for celebration photographs

This kit includes two transparent PNG overlays: Golden Fireworks and Silver Blue Fireworks. Place them on separate layers above an appropriate night or blue-hour photograph. The download includes a placement guide and final review sheet. The page photograph is illustrative and does not demonstrate either supplied overlay.

Make a composite that belongs in the scene

Choose a photo with clear sky and a plausible distant display location. Scale one overlay for perspective, then move or mask bursts behind buildings, trees or other foreground objects. Reduce opacity where needed and keep the brightest effects away from faces. Check color and direction of light so the addition does not overwhelm the original moment.

Preserve context

Keep the original file and a layered master. Tell clients when a delivered image is a composite if the distinction matters to them; do not present added fireworks as documentary coverage of an event. The kit is for editing photographs, not for handling or launching fireworks.
