Map the work before buying help
This guide is for photographers who feel fully booked or constantly behind. Track representative jobs from inquiry through delivery, plus marketing, bookkeeping, equipment maintenance, and other business work. Separate hours that grow with each booking from shared recurring work. Include the effort spent correcting preventable mistakes.
Name the constraint. If inquiries are scarce, an editor may free hours without creating revenue. If inquiries are strong but delivery is late, production help may matter. If clients repeatedly request work outside scope, a clearer offer can remove more pressure than hiring someone to fulfill the unpriced extras.
