Start with a genuine reason to book
Choose a client need rather than an arbitrary promotional date. A family may need photographs before a print-order deadline; a business may need new team portraits before a website launch. Work backward through editing, delivery, photography, preparation, and the client’s decision time. Leave room for weather, revisions where agreed, and ordinary scheduling delays.
Define the offer and capacity before announcing it. If you can fulfill six sessions, do not encourage unlimited demand without a clear alternative or waiting process. Use the mini-session economics guide for event offers and the capacity guide when a campaign may create a delivery bottleneck.
