Session Savvy is worth testing when photography sessions and client follow-up are your main unit of work and you want to avoid a recurring software subscription. Online payments carry a 1% platform fee plus Stripe processing. Payment-based fees apply when you collect online payments; the software subscription itself is $0.
Published pricing includes 10GB of storage. A $200 online payment has a $2 platform fee before processing. Any client-facing invoice fee you configure is a separate decision, not a change to the platform’s price.

HoneyBook lists US processing at 2.9% + $0.25 for Visa/Mastercard, 3.4% + $0.09 for American Express, Discover and cards on file, and 1.5% for ACH. Eligibility, country and payment method matter. These fees are additional to the subscription; compare them with Session Savvy’s platform fee plus Stripe processing.

Session Savvy makes the photography session a concrete working object connected to the client, invoice and follow-up. HoneyBook’s broader model can be a strength for photographers with complex service offerings, so reproduce one real job before deciding.
Keep completed contracts and invoice/payment history available in HoneyBook or your own exported archive. Client-contact CSV import does not recreate smart files, proposals, project stages, recurring payment schedules, automations or team permissions.
Try Session SavvyClient CSV import supports names, email, phone and notes, with column mapping and a preview. Maximum 5MB and 5,000 rows per batch. It does not recreate all related records from another platform.
You can test Session Savvy while keeping your current provider. Parallel use does not automatically synchronize the two systems.
