A gallery-and-store replacement is a different decision from changing the system that manages your photography work.

Online payments carry a 1% platform fee plus Stripe processing. Payment-based fees apply when you collect online payments; the software subscription itself is $0.
Published pricing includes 10GB of storage. A $200 online payment has a $2 platform fee before processing. Any client-facing invoice fee you configure is a separate decision, not a change to the platform’s price.

NextZen documentation lists a 7% commerce fee on fulfilled order subtotals, excluding tax and shipping, plus payment processing. Product/lab costs are another cost to check. A gallery-sale commerce fee is not the same thing as Session Savvy’s online-payment platform fee. Compare the services and transaction types you will actually use.
Zenfolio offers a free trial without a credit card. This page compares current NextZen plans, not grandfathered Classic subscriptions; check your own account’s product and renewal terms.

Session Savvy connects that work around the client and session. Zenfolio also offers booking and business tools, so the decision is not “galleries versus no booking”; it is whether the specific workflow you use is better served by one provider or a deliberate combination.
There is no verified importer for Zenfolio websites, galleries, print products, order history or BookMe reservations. Client CSV import is limited to contacts. Keep your domain, public links, pending orders and gallery access working until each has an explicit migration or retention plan.
Try Session SavvyClient CSV import supports names, email, phone and notes, with column mapping and a preview. Maximum 5MB and 5,000 rows per batch. It does not recreate all related records from another platform.
You can test Session Savvy while keeping your current provider. Parallel use does not automatically synchronize the two systems.
A full website builder is not a verified Session Savvy capability. A photographer directory profile is not an equivalent replacement for your website, domain structure and store.
Yes. Its current pricing page offers booking and scheduling as an add-on to Basic and Professional and includes it in Advanced. Check which product and plan you already use.
Keep them in place while testing client work. Session Savvy’s contact importer does not move gallery files, access permissions, print products or order histories.
The prices and plan comparison here are for current NextZen offerings. Classic has separate plans and architecture; check your account and renewal terms rather than assuming these prices describe it.

Zenfolio documentation still contains older plan names and proofing restrictions; the current pricing page and September 2026 access update take precedence for this review.
